Barbara Heritage

Barbara Heritage is Assistant Director and Curator of Collections at Rare Book School, University of Virginia. She holds a BA/MA in Modern Studies and English Literature from the University of Virginia, where she studied as an Echols Scholar and graduated with high distinction. She is currently writing on the cultural reception of Jane Eyre as part of a dissertation directed by Karen Chase and Jerome McGann in the UVa English Department. She also studies, writes on, and collects George Meredith's novel, The Ordeal of Richard Feverel. She is a pressgroup member of the Virginia Arts of the Book Center, where she began printing in 2003 as a student of Johanna Drucker.
