David M. Clinger
Press of the Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Sandy Bottom News
Press of the Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Sandy Bottom News was established in 1947 and is located in Stingray Point, Virginia.
I began dabbling in letterpress in the late 1940s as a creative outlet and because of a fascination with typography and old presses. Located at my family’s summer place near Deltaville, Virginia, the print shop is adjacent to the old Stingray Point Farm farmhouse, which dates to the early 1800s.
Romantick & Wimsical Words of the Sea and of Sailing-Ships, miniature hardcover book by David M.
